Marlene was absolutely wonderful. I had her as my caregiver for about six weeks, with varying start times, and she was always flexible and able to adjust her schedule as needed. She did bring her two-year-old son with her, and I want to emphasize that he was extremely well-behaved—he truly felt like a grandchild to me at one point. Marlene quickly felt like family. When I needed someone the most, she was always there for me. As my health improved, I no longer needed a caregiver, but to this day we still keep in touch and have remained close friends. I don’t want the idea of her bringing a two-year-old to discourage anyone. She came prepared with coloring books and a mat, and he would sit quietly when needed. Even during times when Marlene assisted me with bathing, he somehow understood that he needed to stay where he was. Marlene was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional. I truly couldn’t have asked for better support.
