Marlena was excellent for our family, our circumstances unfortunately just changed! She was so attentive to our son (6M). She played, sang, and engaged him during wake windows and was very intentional about doing age appropriate activities with him. 
She was diligent about tracking his care in a shared app, and went above and beyond doing household tasks while our son was napping. 
We are sad to see her go but highly recommend her to any family looking for care. 

Marlena cared for my two sons for about 3 weeks. 

It was not working out because she refused to communicate about things going on at the house when I was at work. She also consistently showed up late and even called off an entire morning last minute. 

When I finally let her go, I found out she had been complaining to my 11 year old son that she wasn’t getting paid enough and that she was having “disagreements” with me about her pay. He then proceeded to tell me there were numerous other things she did and did not do and told him “not to tell me”. 

I find this extremely immature and irresponsible for a child care provider to act in such a manner.

I hope that this does not happen to anyone else or their children! I’m glad I found out sooner rather than later.

Marlena has been taking care of our 4-month old baby girl for a few weeks now. She is caring, gentle, and sweet with the baby, she double checks the caring procedures with me, asks questions frequently, follows the instructions well, and is diligent and responsive to baby's needs. I feel comfortable leaving my baby girl with her when I have errands to run. Marlena is with us on a part time basis but I would love to have her full time had our budget allow. 
Bonus point, our cat likes her too :)

Marlena is a caring and responsible person who took very good care of my sick 5 month old baby for a week while he can’t go to daycare. Marlena also helped out cleaning the toys and organizing the play areas and folding our laundry to keep our home clean. We definitely recommend Marlena to your family.

Marlena is a wonderful person who has been with our family for over two years. I will be staying home full time now, so our situation has changed and we no longer need a full time nanny. Marlena started with us when our oldest daughter (now 3) was 11 months, and has been with us since our 9 month old was born. She really loves and takes good care of our girls, keeping them active at home and also going to classes/library/parks/play dates. She reads them stories, sings and loves to play with them - you can tell that she cares about their development and growth. 

Marlena has also been great about doing light housework and kids laundry. She helped take care of our dog as well - feeding him every day and letting him out.  She has helped us with potty training our 3 year old, and has been kind enough to take kids in to the doctor for vaccines. 

My husband and I hope Marlena can find another family with children to love as much as our children love her! She has been part of our family!

Marlena cared for our 2 young children for 6 months. She took especially good care of our infant daughter, always providing a safe environment. Marlena prepared light meals for our girls as well as doing laundry and organizing their play room. Our home was always clean and tidy at the end of the day. The girls were always active at the park and Marlena picked up our oldest from school and took her to dance class. We definitely recommend Marlena for your family.

Marlena interviewed with my family this past weekend and she is exactly what we were looking for in a Nanny!  Unfortunately for us, our new home will not be ready for a  few more months and we are not ready to start with our new nanny.  Marlena was on time, extremely sweet and gentle with our daughter, and displayed a great amount of patience with a squirmy toddler.  Any family will be lucky to have her as their caregiver!

Marlena interviewed with our family and although we hired someone who lived closer to our home she would be a great addition to any family.  She arrived on time for our interview, was very loving to our son, and came prepared with her resume and referenced.  She was willing to go above and beyond to help make our lives easier.

We love Marlena!  She has cared for our daughter for the last 7 months and we are so sad to lose her due to our move to the suburbs.  During her time with us she took care of our now 16 month old daughter full time Mon- Fri.  She takes our daughter to the park and on walks daily, provides 2 meals a day and lots of play time.  Marlena has also provided child care in the evenings for us taking care of our daughter's bedtime routine.  She is very caring, loving and provides a safe environment for our daughter. We will miss her dearly but would highly recommend anyone looking for a nanny.

We love Marlena!  She has been caring for our daughter for the last 7 months.  We are moving and so sad to lose Marlena as our daughter's nanny.  She is responsible, loving, caring and has always been so great with our daughter.  She takes advantage of trips to the parks and walks with our 16 month old.  Marlena currently cares for our daughter full time Monday - Friday providing 2 meals a day, play time, nap time and has taken on extra babysitting shifts covering bath and bedtime routine.  We feel lucky to have had Marlena for the past 7 months.  Anyone would be lucky to have her as a part of their family as we have this year.
