About Marla

20 plus years of teaching experience along with many years of childcare, has instilled in me a deep passion for nurturing their growth. My previous nanny roles sparked a desire to positively impact young lives and support families by providing reliable care. I am a certified teacher with some graduate school education. I also was the Administrator of the Child Development Center at MVNU. My personality is patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing board games and puzzles with children, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I always follow parents' preferred communication methods. I am comfortable caring for children, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I am also willing to help with cooking and meal preparation. I believe in creating a fun and safe environment where your child can thrive, and I look forward to the possibility of becoming a part of your family's support system.
