About Mark

Hi! I'm Mark, a licensed special education teacher with 10+ years of experience working with children in both childcare and public school settings across Illinois and California. I specialize in helping students who may struggle in traditional learning environments, including ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, behavioral needs, and executive functioning challenges. Families often describe me as patient, relatable, humorous, and dependable. I focus on building strong relationships so students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to learn. I'm proud to have received both the SEPAC Award and Teacher of the Month recognition for my dedication to students and families. I offer summer tutoring for $50/hour and support students not only academically, but also with confidence, organization, and study skills.
