About Markeia

My name is Markeia, but I prefer to be referred to as Keke. I am 24 years old. My passion is caring for young children. My style utilizes applied behavioral analysis with those in my care. I focus on building positive behaviors. I have experience working with typica (special needs) children, both in the home and daycare settings. I encourage the children I care for to participate in activity decisions, but I encourage arts/crafts, outdoor time, helping in the kitchen, reading and creative play. I enjoy participating in my job as a member of a team. I am eager to assist by handling my assigned duties and willing to assist with other duties as needed. In the home setting, I am open to handling childcare and home care responsibilities. I am not comfortable supervising children while swimming, and I have never had the opportunity to master this skill myself. I have a driver's permit but have not had the opportunity to obtain it.
