Experience: 10 yrs
11 years in senior care have shown me the profound impact a dedicated caregiver can have. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant with CPR Training, and my college education has further equipped me to provide comprehensive support. My approach is rooted in patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to connect with those I care for. Understanding your loved one's preferences and personal history is paramount to me. I offer respite care, live-in support, transportation, errands, home health assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and support for dementia, medical management, mobility, and physical activity. I keep families informed with written daily reports and regular updates via text or phone call. Positive experiences in previous roles motivated me to become a caregiver. I'm eager to bring my friendly and empathetic nature to your family.
Mark is (simply put) and angel sent right from heaven. He took AMAZING care of my father through his five year decline through Alzheimer’s with such care, capability, tenderness, compassion and heart. While my dad was still able to walk and get around, they would take long walks with the dog and do little “chores” together and pass lovely days with outings or meals or puzzles. When my dad was resting, Mark was anxious to keep busy and happily did anything that needed doing around the house or yard. As the disease progressed, Mark was able to help us adjust to ever escalating physical needs, helping with my dad’s grooming, cleaning and care. My father moved from home care into assisted living/memory care and Mark went right along with him giving extra care and coverage beyond what the facility could manage. Mark was with us to the very end, helping us even the day my dad passed away. We consider Mark to be part of the family now and will be forever grateful that fate sent him our way. In the final year, my dad required around the clock care, and Mark brought in a trusted and fantastic support team that were also incredible. We will be forever grateful. - Jessica and Family
