About Mark
Experience: 1 yr
I aim to unlock student potential through acknowledging and building on what they already know and value. I am a certified 5-8 grade math teacher with a master's degree in philosophy and can tutor anyone in either subject. I use a multimodal strategy alongside feedback and student outcomes to meet my students where they are at and provide the appropriate level of productive struggle to help them reach their goals. I have worked in Chelsea as an educator for the last 3 years covering multiple positions, including math, history and science.
