Please note: I charge $180 (includes travel fee) for up to five hours, each hour afterward is $25.

I specialize in infants and toddlers. Through cuddly snuggles, song, dance, and imaginative play, children feel secure, enabling them to learn so much that they develop great confidence and character. It is a privilege to help shape their personalities and I take that honor seriously. My school-age charges enjoy the toys, games, and crafts that I bring to help entertain them. Please read my reviews - they are excellent. My children are grown; yet I am blessed to continue to do what I love, nurture children. I am available for emergency backup and part time care.

"Lala" has been a wonderful nanny to our children. We moved to Chatt last year while I was pregnant with our 3rd & found her on here. Without her help I'd be a wreck. If it weren't for this terrible virus we'd continue to employ her. The pandemic has changed my plans for future employment, leaving me home with the children full time. Lala is very loving & kind. She creates a structured, safe & fun environment for our children & does a great job at meeting their individual needs. She encourages manners & communication with them & follows through with everything they discuss. She incorporates learning with playing & they love it without realizing they are being taught valuable information! She is very thoughtful about incorporating our parenting preferences to provide consistency for them. She watched all of our children multiple times without any issues. She kept the newborn on schedule & was very loving & nurturing! She's a great communicator, well organized & flexible!

Marjorie went above and beyond when she babysat our two kids and our friends' two kids during our vacation. Handling 4 kids age 4 and under is no easy task, but Marjorie was ready. She had interviewed us beforehand, asking about the kids and their interests. She brought pizza for their dinner and crafts. She sent us updates when we were on our double date. She left behind Play dough and tools as a goodbye gift, with each child receiving an individual goody from "La La." The kids woke up talking about how much fun they had eating pizza and blueberries and playing. Marjorie was so nice to work with! I hope to visit Chattanooga again and will be calling her. Thanks again, Marjorie, for your exceptional care!

Majorie has functioned as both full and part-time nanny for our family. She is wonderful with our daughter, keeping a journal each day for the important facts and the little smiles. She made my transition back to work so much easier. She is always punctual with a smile on her face and puts our home very much at ease. Highly recommend!

Marjorie (LaLa) has been an absolute blessing to our family. We had  never hired anyone outside of our families before to watch our children so we were very skeptical before we met LaLa, especially my  husband who works in law enforcement. LaLa started watching our  baby when he was just 3 months old and our oldest son was 11. She  was absolutely wonderful with both ages from the start. LaLa is warm and nurturing. She is professional and flexible and has even been able to care for our sick baby at a moment's notice. I never have to worry when she is with our babies. I couldn't recommend anyone better to care for your children. 

La La Is absolutely fantastic! My kids adore her and she always has fun activities and crafts for the kids to do.  I trust her completely with my babies!

Marjorie took full time care of our 8 week old girl for two weeks in the Fall of 2018. Needless to say we were apprehensive about anyone watching our baby girl but Marjorie's experience and demeanor put our minds at ease immediately. Our girl absolutely loved her and beamed every morning when Marjorie (aka LaLa) arrived. We appreciated that Marjorie took notes of the activities, exercises, sleep and eating patterns of our child. It was obvious to us that Marjorie took an active role in our baby's day and partook in activities to enrich our baby's development.

Marjorie was extremely flexible with changes in our schedules and went above and beyond the duties that we agreed upon at the start of her term. For instance we were prepping our house to be sold and she helped get things ready for showings and had no problem vacating the house with the baby during showings (often with very short notice). 

In short we found Marjorie to be dependable, trustworthy, caring, and attentive .

Marjorie watched my daughter from when she was 3 months old up until she was almost 2. She's very reliable and punctual. She took great care of my daughter during the long hours that I was at work. From taking care of her basic needs to helping develop motor and social skills,Marjorie's helped us all the way.Would highly recommend her!

Marjorie took care of my three kids (ages 5, 2, and 11 months) while we were visiting Chattanooga. She arrived early, brought toys, and even straightened up after them while they slept. She was communicative with me, followed directions clearly, and also improvised when needed. Highly recommend!

Marjorie has provided excellent, dependable care for our 9-month-old, is honest and trustworthy, and genuinely cares about our daughter and our family. We will miss her tremendously as we are leaving the area and can only hope to find another caregiver as wonderful as her in our new location.

Marjorie and I have been friends for many years. Our children are close in age and have participated in many activities and sports together.
