I am an artist and educator, recently laid off fron my position as Curriculum Specialist with an Omaha nonprofit. I am looking for clients who are interested in enrichment for their children in the areas of art, garden/agriculture, culinary skills, and STEM exploration. Background: After graduating with my BA in Theatre from UNL in 2014, I went on to teach theatre at a Maine summer camp, then to facilitate activities with young passengers aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. I worked for a year as an au pair in Berlin, and for 2 years as an English teacher in South Korea. In 2019, I returned to the USA to complete a Master's program in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education at the UNL, where I also earned K-12 teaching certification. While completing my degree, I taught for teaching the Head Start program in Lincoln, taught English to students in China online, completed a literacy practicum with 1st graders, student taught kindergarten, and wrote my Master's project about SEL.
