About Mariyah

Hi my name is Mariyah and I am current a VCU student who is majoring in Nursing to become a neonatal nurse. Combining a love for children with a desire to nurture their growth is what drives my passion for childcare. I have two years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 11 years. I'm comfortable looking after two children at a time. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I also have First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am happy to follow your lead when it comes to household rules and preferred communication methods. I can assist with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel. My goal is to support your family's needs while providing a safe and fun environment for your children. I'm currently taking Early Child Development Coursework. I'm eager to bring my nurturing spirit to your family.
