About Mariya
As a third-year medical student taking a gap year, I have experience working with older adults in a clinical setting, not only outpatient but also inpatient. Having worked at an inpatient psychiatric institute, I also have experience in the mental health realm. I have wound care experience as well, including wound VAC and various dressing changes. Some of my most meaningful experiences on rotations have been working with older adults; I hope to pursue geriatrics and/or palliative care, and given my passion for working with this population, I would love to gain more experience!
