I am currently working at a preschool in the downtown area as a Teacher Assistant. I made the decision to go back to nannying. I have worked with ages ranging from infancy to the age of 12 through being a nanny and working in the preschool setting. That is where my passion with working with children began and still continues today. Since then I have worked in private preschools and as a nanny in Reno, Las Vegas NV, and Spokane WA. I love to read, teach some sign language, Spanish, art, listen to music and do educational activities that enhances their learning as well as going for a walk, library, or to the park. Preference for full-time but I am open to a little less than 40 hours a week. I have an a degree in community social work and currently attending Washington State University (global campus) for Lifespan Development. I come highly experienced and recommended.

Maritza is a gem among stones. She's the very definition of a professional nanny who will not only babysit your kids. She will help them thrive. We had gone through three different nannies for my son in a short time and it felt hopeless. But as soon as I met Maritza, I realized she was in a different category. She's been with us for a little over a year now and our son absolutely adores her. She's organized, punctual, patient, loving, and very creative. She's always bringing new activities to help develop fine motor skills, emotional regulation, language skills, etc. She's practically our own private preschool teacher. She has a great sense of humor and easily keeps up with my high-energy toddler. She has a keen eye for spotting issues/risks, which she brings up right away. As a mom, you will never feel more at ease. Sadly, we are moving out of state. Otherwise we'd keep her forever. Your family will be extremely lucky if you decide to hire her!
