My name is Maritza and I have lived in Las Vegas for over 17 years I am currently employed by the Clark County School District. Before ( CCSD) I was employed by Los Angeles Unified School District for 7 years. I have been working with children between the ages of 2 months and 22 yrs old. I am currently working in a middle school where I am in charge of the discipline office as a lead Student Success Advocate. For 17 years I worked in a self contained classrooms with children who were emotionally disturbed & Autism. During this time I thought ABA ( Applied Behavior Analysis) I'm CPR/AED certified through the Red Cross I am Covid Vaccinated. I'm a mother of an 18-year-old who graduated in June of 2023 and a 26-year-old who is currently attending UNLV I am very hands on and love to work with children, read them books, play board games, etc. When children are under my care I make sure every child feels they are in a safe and nurturing environment. I am fluent in Spanish.

Maritza is the best! As soon as she walked into our house and I spoke with her, I felt at ease and we definitely clicked right away. My daughter quickly warmed up to her as well. She has such a warm, bright, caring, friendly presence. She's not only a wonderful caretaker but a great communicator, proactive about messaging if she is running late and sharing updates about our little one while we were away. I'm so sad we moved and will miss her dearly!
