I have been caring for animals my whole life-from farm animals like horses and cows to newts and geckos, and everything in between. I have nursed baby birds, bringing them back to life and fledging them safely. I have assisted in farm animal birthing and feel very comfortable as a farm-hand. I love dogs, cats, rodents, birds, and fish. I love animals so much that I've been an ovo-lacto vegetarian for over 40 years, but I have no issue handling meat to feed to a person or animal who eats it. But, my favorite animals are companion animals who add to our lives and become family members.
