About Marissa

i! I'm Marissa, a fourth-year student at the University of Rhode Island majoring in Secondary Education with a focus on History. This year, I'll be starting my Master's program in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and I plan to become a middle school history teacher. I have over 7 years of experience working with children as a summer camp counselor and through various babysitting jobs with kids 1-12. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I also serve as the Vice President of Risk Management for my sorority, where I've been trained to handle emergency situations, identify potential safety concerns, and respond appropriately to things such as allergic reactions. I have a clean record, my own reliable vehicle, and I'm fully comfortable with pick-ups, drop-offs, errands, and more. I love crafts, and I'm always happy to help with chores around the house. I'm reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children of all ages.
