About Marissa

I worked for 2 years at a day care with children from ages newborn to 5 years of age. I have several references from babysitting children over the years outside of the day care center. At the day care, I was in charge of putting lesson plans together which included daily art projects pertaining to the learning theme of the week, play time including creating centers for the children to play in, outside activities and much more. I also fed the children breakfast, lunch and snack as well as changed them and put them down for a nap daily. I taught children basic learning skills such as colors, numbers, ABC's, shapes, manners, how to speak (depending on age) and much more. I love children and only hope for my own someday. They certainly light up my day! I have also worked for several families as well. Recently, I worked for a family as their nanny and house manager. My duties included making sure that the house ran smoothly on a daily basis including managing the other help that came in.
