Hello! My name is Marissa, and I am a compassionate, dependable, and family-oriented caregiver with extensive experience supporting children and individuals with special needs and disabilities. My passion for caregiving began early while growing up with two younger sisters and a large extended family, where I developed a love for helping others and creating meaningful connections. I have been providing care for family and friends since I was 14 years old and have continued building my experience over the years, now at age 26. My background includes working in a small in-home daycare caring for children ages 4 months to 7 years old, as well as working as a Behavioral Technician supporting children on the autism spectrum between the ages of 2 and 10. Currently, I work full-time in a program that supports adults with disabilities, where I provide person-centered care and assist individuals in maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life.
