About Marissa

I am a recent college graduate with extensive childcare experience and will be in the Monterey area for the next four months before beginning my masters degree. I have nannied for two families throughout high school and college, my responsibilities including cooking meals, laundry, transportation, and occasional overnight care. As a neuroscience major, I have also worked with children in clinical settings including at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the OHANA center in Monterey. I love helping kids discover their interests by creating an environment where they feel safe and accepted. I also believe we have so much to learn from kids -- they each have a fresh and unique perspective on the world!
