About Marissa

I have over a year of paid professional childcare experience working in early childhood care at my church. I care for children from infancy through 5th grade during weekly programs and special events. My responsibilities include supervising groups, organizing activities, maintaining a safe environment, communicating with parents, and providing hands-on care such as diaper changes and comforting young children. I have also served as a youth volunteer for over two years, working with middle and high school students, building trust and encouraging positive behavior. In addition, I annually care for my 12yo sister during her summer visits and my 2yo niece during family holidays, assisting with meals, playtime, potty time and supervision. I desire to be a mom one day and truly enjoy caring for children. Gaining experience now allows me to serve families well while continuing to grow as a caregiver.
