About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, goofy, and empathetic. I like working with kids because it's so exciting to watch children become their own people. Watching how they learn new things each and every day is a treasure to witness as well as seeing their personalities develop and start to shine! I started working with kids professionally when I was 21, employed at a daycare in their infant room (children 6 weeks old to 2 years old). I have helped family members with their children, ranging ages, and have been a paid nanny for the past two years. I have experience with older special needs children and am a mother to two young children myself. I am comfortable with pets in the home, cooking, and do not mind doing minor cleaning. My youngest child is 1-year-old, so if you are open to nanny sharing it helps with my availability, if you are not, my availability and start times will be slimmer. My skills include creativity, patience, and nurture.
