Hi! I'm Marissa! I passed all NYS teacher certification exams for early childhood education (Birth-2nd grade) and am waiting on NYS to grant me my certification. I am planning to be certified in special education (Birth-2nd) by October, 2020. I graduated with my BA in early childhood education and special education from CUNY- Brooklyn College with a concentration in psychology. I have experience working in multiple NYC Department of Education classrooms in special education and general education settings. I completed 6 months of student teaching as well. I also have 9 years of experience as a camp counselor and babysitter for families with 1-3 children, some children had special needs as well. I am extremely passionate about working with young children and nurturing them to become successful learners. I would love to continue growing my knowledge and experience and help out your family.
