Hi! My name is Marissa. I recently moved to Cheboygan from Sterling Heights, but for most of my life I lived in Indian River. In high school, I took a Parenting & Child Care class online and I am certified in CPR & First Aid, as well as a few courses through MI Registry. I am currently in college working toward my Associate's degree in Psychology, with the intention of transferring to University of Michigan to continue my education. Overall, I intend to get my Master's, find a job as a grief therapist, and open a private practice. For the past 11 years, I've babysat for both family and for friends, but have spent the last year working in a licensed child development center. Through these experiences I've come to find a love and passion for helping kids. I am very artsy, so I definitely will help your child/children embrace their artistic side through arts and crafts. Marissa applied for our nanny position in Nov 2021 and scheduled an interview with us overvideo She never logged on to the interview and didn't communicate why she wasn't able to attend. She applied to another one of our job posts in July. This time she did interview with us and was hired. We confirmed her start date a few days prior and she never showed up to work. We reached out to her to see what happened and she never responded. We would not recommend trying to have her work for you.
