About Marissa

Hello families! My name is Marissa and I am currently a kindergarten teacher. Before I became a teacher, I worked at a daycare for five years, caring for children from newborns and up. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have extensive babysitting experience with many wonderful families. I love spending time outdoors-gardening, exploring, and going on little adventures with kids. I also enjoy planning engaging activities like arts and crafts, sensory play, and other hands-on learning experiences. As a teacher, my availability would begin around mid-June (exact date to be determined as we are still in the winter season). I am looking for a summer position that would continue until the start of the new school year. I would also be a great short-term fit for families who are in between childcare arrangements or looking for care while searching for a long-term nanny.
