About Marissa

Hi! I'm currently a behavior specialist at an elementary school, where I've had the privilege of supporting kids through their big feelings, helping them build emotional regulation skills, and creating a safe space where they can thrive. I'll be starting a PhD program in school psychology this fall, but I have a completely open schedule for the summer! I'm warm, calm, and patient, and I try to bring a playful, encouraging energy to everything I do. I'm happy to follow your family's routines and parenting style and always keep open communication so you feel in the loop! I love getting outside, playing games, and finding fun ways to help kids stay engaged and feel successful. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have my own transportation, and am comfortable with pets. I'm happy to help with light housework, cooking, and swimming supervision if needed. I'd love to hear more about your family and how I can support you this summer!
