About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, calm, and dependable. I like working with animals because it provides a deep sense of purpose, emotional fulfillment, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in their lives. I'm looking for a job that is consistent during the week. I started working with animals in high school when I worked at a pet store and I owed dogs throughout my lifetime. In my spare time, I like to sail, go for a walk, run, relax outside, ice skate, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I have medically fostered dogs in the past to help them recover before being adopted. My skills include understanding animal behavior, basic grooming (bathing, nail trimming), proper nutrition, and emergency first aid to dogs.
