About Marissa

Hi, all! Im a recent UCSC art grad looking for some part time child care work in the Santa Cruz area. I first began working with children in my teens as a summer camp volunteer; for infamous local camp Later, in high school, I was a part of a volunteer program that worked directly with the neighboring English learning preschool and daycare. My job mainly involved helping the children read and interact in English. I also helped the teachers out with organizing the classroom for activities; such as arts, and crafts. Shortly after high school, I babysat for two girls (6 & 8) for several months. I walked them to and from school, gave some homework supervision and help (when needed.) I also took them to music and swim lessons, made snack's, and even started to teach the younger girl to play with watercolors! I would love to find another situation like my last job from care. com I am also open to one-time jobs, please reach out!
