About Marissa

To put it simply: childcare is a passion in my life and it has been since my brother was born when I was 7 years old. I loved being a big sister to all of my siblings and now I love being a nanny. No other career has proven to be as rewarding and satisfying to me as childcare. I started as a babysitter when I was very young and was a summer nanny when I was 14 years old. While it proved to be challenging, I was great at my job and I loved it. I went on to become a teacher in a nursery for several years in addition to getting some experience working as a supervisor at a daycare. I have also worked as a nanny for several different families. I also have some medical background as an EMT so you can feel comfortable knowing that while you are away, a loving and prepared nanny is always there to save the day if needed. I am now a mommy to a wonderful 6-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy. I am available during school hours without him and outside of school hours with him.
