About Marissa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping students from elementary through high school master subjects ranging from Math and Science to Study Skills and Test Preparation. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, so I actively observe your interactions with new material to tailor my approach. Whether we use visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions, I adapt my methods to suit your specific needs. I focus on breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, celebrating your progress, and fostering critical thinking. Clear communication with you and your family remains my priority to ensure we stay aligned on your goals. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is why I love what I do. I am truly honored to support your journey toward academic confidence and success.
