I live in North Denver, where I moved to work with midwives and support births. Our practice slowed down as my preceptor retired, and I made a career shift before having my own baby, who is now 10 months old. In addition to my 24/7 experience as a SAHM the past 10 months, I have professional experience with newborns (from less than one minute old!), toddlers, and school-aged children as a live-in au pair. I have reliable transportation, am college educated as well as constantly reading about child development and educational approaches ranging from Montessori to Waldorf and beyond, am compassionate and gentle, am a non-smoker, and love to cook (and am very experienced with dietary restrictions and allergies). I am looking to provide part-time childcare to a baby about the same age as mine., so your rate would be discounted, and you would be able to rest assured that your child would be cared for and engaged in the same way I care for my own!

We love Marissa. She is a responsible and dependable caregiver. More importantly, our 16 month old son absolutely loves her and has built a great relationship with her. She is well-educated and excellent with children. She provides care in a loving, warm manner. She has always been on time, responsive, and is flexible with availability. She is very respectful of our child's schedule and needs, and keeps us updated on how his day is going. I recommend her without reservation, as any family would be lucky to work with her.
