About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and loving I started working with kids when I was 16 years old, I babysat for 2 families with kids ranging from 3-8 years old for 2 years. At 17 I worked at my local elementary school in a kindergarten and 5th grade classroom. I love working with kids because I enjoy being part of their growth and development. I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. I'm looking for a job that values kindness, communication, and reliability. I want to be someone children feel comfortable with and parents can trust completely. In my spare time, I like to read, go on walks, and hang out with my friends! I am definitely a person who enjoys spending more time outside than inside. One thing you should know about me is I have a passion for creating a safe and warm environment for kids. My plan right now is to become an elementary school teacher and I can't wait for that moment!
