Experience: 5 yrs
Hi families, my name is Marissa I am a dedicated youth development and behavioral health professional with over 5 years of experience supporting children and adolescents in educational, therapeutic and community based settings. My career began as an after school coach. I later became a registered behavioral technician, working closely with children on the spectrum at home and in school, performing behavioral interventions and supporting learning goals. I am now proud to say I am a behavioral therapist and special education assistant with LAUSD and I truly love what I do. I am passionate about teaching real world life skills that empower children to become confident, independent individuals. I have always been creative and loved art so I do well incorporating creativity and interactive games in my sessions. My goal is to create supportive environments where children feel encouraged to grow and develop valuable skills.
