About Marisol

Hi! I am Marisol, though most people call me Solie. I am 21 and currently a full-time political science student at SMC. I have worked in childcare since age 17, supporting infants through children around 5 years old, and I genuinely enjoy being with kids and observing their growth. I have experience in a Reggio-inspired daycare and have assisted children with autism spectrum disorders and other learning differences. I like art projects, music, singing, dancing, outdoor exploration, and building a fun, safe, and caring space for children. I am also CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I am quite flexible and glad to adjust my schedule when possible to assist families needing care. Please feel free to reach out anytime-I will always try to reply quickly. Although I lack my own vehicle, which some may prefer, I can reach locations reliably and could secure transport in an emergency.
