Hi! I'm an empty- nester mom of 2 boys who are both at Georgia Tech and I am thrilled whenever I have the opportunity to see them. I have my undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and worked in elementary through high school settings, mostly in special education. I am now a Pilates instructor and enjoy staying active. Taking walks, exploring nature or playing games outside are some of my favorite things. I love any kind of crafting time, board games, educational games, legos and puzzles. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I believe that clear communication helps in all situations and I will always do my best to follow your family rules to keep your precious child safe and healthy. I am First Aid and CPR trained.

Maris is one of our most valued friends and we trust her 1000% with our children! She is a special needs teacher by trade and is creative in the way she interacts with children. She is extremely patient and reliable as a caregiver. She would be a great addition to anyone’s care team! For reference, our daughter had cancer when Maris was in the most active part of our lives and she was one of the three people outside of care providers that we trusted with our daughter. Maris took utmost care to make sure she was protected. Please consider her with looking for a caregiver for your family!
