Hi there! I've been working with children for about three years and truly love it. I volunteer at my church, caring for kids ages 6 and under, and have also consistently babysat for families with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. In addition to my childcare experience, I'm a Certified Medical Assistant and currently finishing my degree in Respiratory Therapy (graduating this September!). We were very blessed to have found Mari on Care.com. She was with us for 1.5 years and helped care for our 3 boys 5 yrs old and older. We would still have her if not for our careers moving us out of state. Exceptionally trustworthy, kind, honest, she brought a level of comfort and quality care to our family. We knew our boys were in good hands. One son learned how to make brownies with her, another loved doing arts and crafts. She is a part of the family and the boys love her. Early in the work period she helped with the kids laundry and dinner 1-2 times a week. This was extremely helpful to my husband and I as we worked ~50-60 hrs a week. Only reasons as to 4 stars and not 5 is the schedule availability (which we knew about prior to and worked through as her course/residence hours changed and testing became more intense), and the amount of experience working with young vibrant kids. Despite that, I highly recommend Ms. Mari. She will be a great addition to your family!
