About Marisa

I earned my associate's degree in science and am currently pursuing an associate's degree in biology with the intention of transferring to UC San Diego to study cellular and molecular biology. Since high school, I've been dedicated to helping students gain confidence in math and science subjects. My goal is not just to assist them in passing assignments or tests, but to empower them to take the knowledge they've acquired and build upon it to achieve a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I am confident in tutoring algebra 2 and lower math classes, as well as biology, chemistry, and human anatomy at the high school level and below. As I continue my studies, I will be able to add more subjects!
