About Marisa

Hi! I'm a former 5th grade math and science teacher with a strong background in both education and healthcare. I have a bachelor's in Public Health and a master's in Biomedical Science, and I'm currently completing my training in Cardiovascular Perfusion. I've worked with children in a variety of settings - I was a teacher, an ambulatory care tech in a pediatric hospital, and a nanny for a 3-year-old and 1-year-old, where I also handled household tasks. I've also cared for family and friends' children, and as the 2nd oldest of six children, I've been helping care for kids my whole life. I'm dependable, patient, and organized, and I love helping kids learn, play, and feel supported. I also have a well-behaved rescue pup, so I'm comfortable with pets and can help with pet care if needed.
