About Marisa

I recently graduated with a degree in Human Development from Cornell University. I am a first-year doctoral student in School-Clinical Child Psychology at Pace University. I have lots of experience working with children, including volunteering at the Long Island Children's Museum, working at a counselor at Piece Country Day Camp, and working at the Child Mind Institute in their Summer Intensive Treatment Program for children with ADHD, ODD, and related disorders. During the summer of Covid, I started my own camp, Camp from Home, where I planned crafts and activities for children of all ages (campfromhome. org). I also have experience working children with special needs through BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services), where I have mentored students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) due to learning disabilities.
