About Marisa

Hi, I'm Marisa. I currently live in Ashland. I just graduated from SOU with a degree in education and my teaching license(in progress). I decided to take the next year off from teaching to explore where and what exactly I want to teach. I've wanted to be a teacher since elementary school and I've always loved kids. My schedule is fairly busy until end of August but starting in September my schedule is more flexible. I've had most of my experience working with students 5-12 and limited experience with children under 5. I'm excited to get to know you and your family and hopefully can find something that works with both of us. I started working with kids when I was about 16. I started babysitting for family friends during Sophmore year and throughout high-school. During college I worked at YMCA afterschool programs and My skills include responsibility, firm but loving boundaries and having fun!
