Hi! My name is Marisa. During the school year, I am a special education teacher and dyslexia specialized tutor with a Bachelor's of Science in Exceptional Student Education and 60 hours of Orton Gilingham reading training and the CRA math methodology. I have my CPR and First Aid certifications, and I have many years of experience with a very diverse group of families. I have worked with children with dylexia, ADHD, ASD (autism spectrum disorder), TBIs (traumatic brain injuries), and various other developmental conditions. I have come to a point in my career where I would like to take agency of my finances to get my M. Ed in a sustainable way. I would really appreciate part time work outside of my 40 hour teaching position. I absolutely love working with children and pets! I'm ready to be of help to your family in any way over the summer!
