About Marisa

As a former resident of Massachusetts, I held certifications as a certified nursing assistant and home health care aide, and am a former firefighter and EMT and recently obtained my phlebotomy certification in Florida. I was a Case Manager for Senior Resource Associations Meals on Wheels program in Vero Beach for 2 years, and am now transitioning from employment as a certified child welfare professional. I will be enrolling in an accelerated registered nurse program in 2026 and am very excited to return to direct care employment with the senior population! I moved to Florida in 2021 to provide round the clock care for my father, who was ill and unable to remain at home safely by himself, until his passing in 2022. I also provided in home care for my mother during her battle with ALS in 2013. I love dogs and have 2 Great Danes. I am a very good cook, love to clean and despite the Florida heat, can be found outdoors weeding all year round whenever it's necessary.
