Hi, I'm a Mom of 2 lovely girls (9&13) looking forward to meet a new family who needs my help with their little ones. I've been babysitting (on and off) since I was 18 years old. I moved to US back in 2009, when I finished my bachelors in Sociology. I taught the Portuguese language for a couple of years and when I got pregnant of my first girl I decided to be a stay home Mom. While I was at home I babysat (2 months and up) for about 7 years. Now that my girls are both in school it's time for me to find a Family, preferably in long term, who's in need of an extra hand. I'm comfortable babysitting any age, and can help with Light Housekeeping, laundry, homework, etc. I love to craft with kids (my favorite), read, sing and play with them. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have Marisa care for our two kids (3 and 7 now) for the past three years - she has truly become a special part of our family. She is genuinely warm, kind, loving, dependable, and always goes above and beyond - not only with the kids, but also by helping around the house, and often preparing healthy and delicious dinners for all of us! She especially cared for our younger son from six months old to now, at three and a half. We honestly could not have asked for a better caregiver or role model for him at such a young age. The special bond they’ve built over the years means so much to us, and it has been so special to watch their relationship grow. Marisa has been there for us through so many everyday moments, and we’ve always felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in her care. She is someone we wholeheartedly trust and care about, and she has become an important and much-loved part of our family. We are truly grateful for all the love, care, and support she has given us over the years!
