About Marisa

Hey! My name is Marisa! I am a passionate and creative person who has been working with infants, children and youth for almost 20 years. I love nurturing kids sense of play and curiosity. I am a graduate student studying at Naropa University in their Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling program. I am deeply committed to personal and collective healing. For the last 3 year I took care of 3 toddlers part-time who I had been with since they were 3 months old. I worked for years as a youth and young adult programs coordinator creating meaning gatherings that explored connection, play, social skill building and creativity. I also spend many years as a camp counselor exploring the natural world and fostering a sense of magic in kids. I love bringing music, movement, meditation and nature into the work I do.
