About Marina

My greatest joy in teaching and tutoring is watching a child discover something new - either a fact or a skill/task that they've conquered. With three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I help students in Math, Spanish, Reading, Writing, Art, & Drama develop critical thinking skills that serve them long-term. By actively listening and observing how they interact with new material, I tailor my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--to suit the child's specific needs. I keep sessions engaging by connecting concepts to their personal interests and celebrating every milestone we reach together. Open communication with both the child and parents is essential to me, as it builds the trust necessary for a child's success. I look forward to helping your child grow and succeed on their learning journey.
