I have an extensive background in childcare both as a tutor and nanny. I was a director of a tutoring center for 6 years before transitioning into caretaking post pandemic and believe my skills would be ideal for a family who wants that extra support in their family ecosystem. I've studied conscious discipline and stay up to date on best practices for childcare. I've worked with babies as young as 2 months and I've cared for children as old as 11. As a tutor I worked with kindergarten through 12th grade so my experience in addition to being education centered is also widely ranged! My ideal position is providing a family with an additional trusted adult who can provide support in household management in addition to child care!

Marina has been fantastic with my 4 year old and 18 month old. Both kids light up when she comes over. She is very engaging with a focus on education. The kids enjoy a lot of imaginative play, reading, and arts/crafts. She also has been a great help around the house by helping with dishes and laundry.
