About Marina

Hi! My name is Marina and I graduated from Montclair State University in May of 2020 with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a concentration in Finance. I am currently studying to be an airline pilot and have most recently passed my private pilot checkride in June of 2025. I have been tutoring for 4+years and have a knack for helping students strengthen their math skills by applying different forms of learning. Visual, auditory, writing, and kinesthetic. My goal is for the student to understand the materials present and if needed, I will offer many different routes to get there. I can help you with multiple areas of math including elementary, geometry, trig, pre-calculus, calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. Mathematics is a toolset that is essential to the foundational life skills everyone needs. I strongly believe that math helps teach salient life skills like critical thinking, problem solving, and patience and I would love to be a part of your mathematics journey!
