About Mari

I'm an experienced and compassionate caregiver currently seeking new nanny clients to support and nurture. Over the past year, I've worked as a preschool teacher and have also subbed in toddler and infant classrooms, giving me hands-on experience across a wide age range. My childcare journey began at age 12 and has included being a live-in summer nanny during my teens and providing consistent nanny care since 2020. I'm CPR and first aid certified, TB-negative, and have passed both a background check and Live Scan. I'm fluent in English and Spanish and love incorporating language, books, and play into daily routines. I bring a calm, dependable presence and value building strong relationships with both children and families. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring new places, and spending time in nature. I have my own vehicle, a clean driving record, do not smoke, and am comfortable with pets. Based in McKinleyville, I'm happy to travel for the right fit!
