About Marilyn

Hi there! I'm Marilyn, a recent graduate from Purdue University. I majored in psychology and am attending graduate school this fall in order to become a school psychologist. I have 8+ years of experience working with kids, both in an in-home and school setting. Much of my experience has been with children with disabilities. I have my substitute teaching license, and work in schools while I am on a break from college classes! I am a responsible, but a fun and energetic person that loves working with children. I love doing arts and crafts, listening to music (playing too), and exploring outdoors. I am a strong advocate for using music and art to activate different parts of your brain while learning and developing. I believe all of these things can be incorporated into tutoring! I have a very open summer availability, and would love to begin as soon as the school year is over! I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
