About Marilin

Hello, My name is Marilin and I am a third grade teacher in the silver spring area. I would like to spread my love of teaching and learning into a helpful environment for all, so why not tutoring. I have completed a year long internship teaching first grade and half a year teaching second grade-talented and gifted. I am a certified Maryland educator. I believe in making learning fun and hands on. Students learn best through experience and real life examples so they understand why learning is so important. I am also a firm believer in monitoring students progress to ensure they are progressing and learning just as they should. I would provide weekly or even daily reports if necessary. As for my timings, I am available in the evening times and am flexible for the weekends. I would absolutely love to work with your family, making it a fun and engaging way to learn and teach.
