About Mari

Some of my experience with children includes being a part time and full time nanny, a date night sitter, a swim instructor, a lifeguard, a babysitter at a private club, . I have experience with children of all ages. I have my BA in Counseling Psychology. I am very interested in child development. I have always connected well with children. Being an influence in a child's life is an honor that I do not take lightly. I value showing children their potential and value and I have seen encouragement as an effective way to inspire and motivate. I enjoy being reflective and creative, as well as connecting with other humans and being adventurous outside. I am relaxed and can go with the flow, but I also value clear communication and organization. I value courage, curiosity, creativity, encouragement, empathy, kindness, and connection in myself and in others and I enjoy being able to foster these things in the children that I care for.
