Hello! My name is Mariia, and I am originally from Ukraine. I moved to the United States three years ago and live in Gainesville, Florida, with my 8-year-old son. I have relatives here who work at the University of Florida. Currently, I work in the Extended Day Program (EDEP) at Glen Springs Elementary School, where I have been for over a year. In Ukraine, I earned a Master's degree in Law and worked as a lawyer for more than 20 years. I enjoy doing all kinds of crafts, drawing, and reading with kids. I can help with transportation - I have a car and I am an experienced driver. I am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. To support my work with children, I completed ESOL (English) courses at Santa Fe College, as well as a paraprofessional training course. I also hold a First Aid and CPR certification for children from kindergarten through 12th grade. I truly love spending time with children and helping them grow in a safe and creative environment.
